Combination Course

This course which caters fully for the learner’s interests and needs enables the student to join a General English class with an extra one-to-one lesson or Specialised English.  Students follow the General English course and in addition, have an extra one-to-one class for students aiming to develop their English skills for a specific need or a specialised subject.  Specialised English options include Medical, Legal, Hospitality and Aviation English.

Courses run daily from Monday to Friday and the minimum duration is one week. The course consists of 20 lessons per week with each lesson being 45 minutes long for a total of 15 hours per week. Additionally, there are another 5 hours of One-to-one tutionOur General English courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a two-week break during the Christmas season.  Students can commence their course on any Monday they choose. All students are asked to sit for an online placement test before they arrive. This ensures that they join a course appropriate for their level of English.  Combination Courses are held at different levels throughout the year.

Other Fees

A one-time registration fee of €35 and a coursebook fee of €50 are applicable to every enrolment. An additional summer supplement of €35 per week is applicable for courses from 17th June to 31st August 2024.

Our Combination Courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a 2 week break during Christmas and New Year.

General English:

    • 09:00 – 10:30 Lessons
    • 10:30 – 11:00: Break
    • 11:00 – 12:30: Lessons

During our peak seasons, we may offer lessons in the afternoon instead of the morning.

One-to-one lessons will take place in the afternoon.

The course fee includes the hours of tuition, printed course materials and an end of course certificate. Long term students will also have a periodical meeting with a tutor to discuss their progress.

Step 1.  Fill in an online application form to receive a quote

Step 2: Once you confirm the quote, we will send you an invoice and information about payment. A deposit of 25% is normally required to be paid in order to secure the booking. The remaining invoice balance should be settled no later than 14 days prior to your arrival in Malta. Visa assisted students are required to settle the total invoice amount in order for us to issue an Acceptance Letter for visa purposes.

Step 3: You will receive a link to our online test. This will allow us to assign students to a class appropriate to their level.

Step 4: Once full payment is received, approximately 2 weeks before your arrival, you will receive further logistical information about your course and stay with us.

The maximum number of students in an Adult class is 14.

On your first day there will be a welcome meeting that starts at 8:40am. We recommend that you arrive at our school office in time for this meeting.

Online English Language Test

Welcome to our online English language test. The test has questions at different levels, ranging from elementary to advanced. It is designed to help us evaluate your level depending on your current English competence. Please complete the questions that you know and leave blank the ones that you do not know. You have sixty-five questions in 1 hour. Once you reach the end of the test please make sure to fill in the required details and click on submit.
