IELTS Exam Preparation Courses

IELTS is one of the most popular examinations for those who would like to study abroad or for those who intend to emigrate to an English-speaking country. There are two types of tests: IELTS Academic and General to suit the student’s needs. As many of our students wish to further their studies at the University of Malta they choose to take the IELTS Academic preparation course, with us. Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses require different band scores. Students may opt to take the test at the Malta Chamber of Commerce who host monthly or bi-monthly exams. Students are advised to book their test as early as possible. For 2022/23 the IELTS test fee is €230 and needs to be booked with the Malta Chamber of Commerce. Malta University Language School has been successfully holding IELTS exam preparation courses for many years and ensures that its courses are of a high professional standard. We recommend that students taking our IELTS Exam Preparation Course have a minimum level of Intermediate (B1). Students are asked to sit for an online placement test before they arrive to verify their level.
