Intensive English

Our Intensive English course, like our General English course, allows students to practise all English language skills in a dynamic group environment, with an added focus on speaking. The course is ideal for learners who want to develop the four primary skills; speaking, reading, writing, and listening, along with essential sub‑skills such as grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Our classes bring together students of different nationalities and ages, creating a diverse and memorable learning experience.

Courses run daily from Monday to Friday and the minimum duration is one week. The course consists of 25 lessons per week, having 20 lessons of General English, with each lesson being 45 minutes and 5 one hour lessons focusing on speaking fluency. Our Intensive  English courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a two week break during the  Christmas season. Students can commence their course on any Monday they choose. All students are asked to sit for an online placement test before they arrive. This ensures that they join a course appropriate for their level of English.  Intensive English courses are held at different levels throughout the year.

Each Intensive English course runs with a minimum of six participants at every level. If a class has fewer than six students, we inform learners of the reduced hours (according to the Reduced Hour Policy) when we issue their weekly lesson schedule.

Course Fee Per Week

Intensive English course fees are discounted according to the number of weeks booked.

Other Fees

A one-time registration fee of €45 and a coursebook fee of €55 are applicable to every enrolment. An additional summer supplement of €35 per week is applicable for courses from 14th June to 27th August 2027.
