A Study Holiday in Malta – Learn English and Italian in Malta!

This study holiday package consists of a two-week General English course combined with Italian for Beginners. This offers you an opportunity to brush up on your English and Italian language skills.  During your stay, you will be accommodated at our brand new university campus residence, having its own swimming pool, student lounge, cafes, and restaurants.  Additionally, you will also have time to visit and explore some of the main attractions in Malta and Gozo.

General English and Italian for Beginners Course

This two-week combination course package consists of a General English course at levels ranging from Elementary to Advanced and a one-hour Italian lesson every day from Monday to Friday. Our General English courses provide you with the opportunity to practice all the English language skills in a dynamic group environment. During the Italian lessons, you will be immersed in the beautiful Italian language and culture.  This course gives you an opportunity to improve your fluency when speaking Italian. Classes are normally held in the morning from Monday to Friday as follows: General English: 09:00 – 10:30  / Break / 11:00 – 12:30 / Break / Italian for Beginners: 13:00 – 14:00.

Before arriving in Malta, you will be asked to sit for our online placement test, to ensure that you join an appropriate class for your level of English.

Accommodation on campus

During your stay, you will be accommodated in a single room at our new university residence. All the rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with a one-and-a-half size width bed, wardrobe space, a bedside table, a mirror, and a desk, with lockable drawers. You will share a  kitchen with other participants.

Staying with us on campus provides you with the opportunity to practice your language skills with other international students in a dynamic fun environment.

Excursions

The study holiday package includes a number of excursions and activities, these are;

• A traditional Harbour Cruise that takes you around the Sliema and Valletta Grand harbour.
• A guided  tour of the historic and bustling capital city Valletta
• A guided tour of Mdina, the Silent City
• A guided tour of Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto
• A guided tour of the three cities
• A full-day trip to Malta’s sister island, the island of Gozo
