Intensive English Online

Our Intensive English Online course, just like our General English Online course, is designed to provide students with the opportunity to practise all the English language skills in a dynamic group environment, with an added focus on speaking skills. The course is ideal for students who are looking at developing the four primary English language skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening as well as the sub-skills such as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Our classes provide diversity in both nationality as well as age to provide a memorable experience for our students.

Courses run daily from Monday to Friday and the minimum duration is one week. The course consists of 25 lessons per week, having 20 lessons of General English, with each lesson being 45 minutes and 5 one hour lessons focusing on speaking fluency. Our Intensive  English courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a two week break during the  Christmas season. Students can commence their course on any Monday they choose. All students are asked to sit for an online placement test before they arrive. This ensures that they join a course appropriate for their level of English.  Intensive English courses are held at different levels throughout the year.

Live Classes Online

Intensive English online are live classes delivered using the online platform Zoom, which makes our lessons easily accessible to learners all around the world. Lessons are delivered live from Malta by our highly experienced teachers.The online platform makes it possible for the teacher to fully interact with the students in real-time. Students are able to see and speak to both the teacher and other learners in real time during the lessons.  The use of the inbuilt interactive whiteboard means that all material can be easily shared both during and after the lesson. Student interaction is further achieved by the use of Break Out rooms where the students are able to practise the target language in small groups with the teacher monitoring and intervening as and when necessary. Lesson material is sent via email before the lesson or as an attachment for students to download in the Zoom chat function during the lesson and the homework that is assigned can be easily submitted at any time to the teacher, via email. The use of all these features ensures that our online lessons are extremely engaging and interactive.

Intensive English Oonline course fees are discounted according to the number of weeks booked.

Other Fees

A one-time registration fee of €35 and a coursebook fee of €50 are applicable to every enrolment. An additional summer supplement of €35 per week is applicable for courses from 17th June to 2nd September 2023.
