General English Online

Our General English Online course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to practice all the English language skills in a dynamic, interactive, group environment. The course helps develop the core English language skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening as well as sub-skills, such as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Our classes provide diversity in both nationalities as well as age to provide a memorable experience for our students. Lessons are carefully designed to suit online learning and to make these courses as engaging as possible.

Courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a two-week break during the Christmas season. Participants can choose any week to begin their course. The minimum duration of a course is one week; lessons run daily from Monday to Friday. The course consists of 20 lessons per week with each lesson being 45 minutes, resulting in a total of 15 hours of tuition per week.  All students are asked to sit for an online placement test before their course commences, as this ensures they join a class appropriate for their level of English. General English classes are offered at different levels from Elementary to Advanced, throughout the year.

Live Classes Online

General English online are live classes delivered via the online platform Zoom, making our lessons easily accessible to learners all around the world. Lessons are delivered live from Malta by our highly experienced teachers. The online platform makes it possible for the teacher to fully interact with the students in real-time. Students are able to see and speak to both the teacher and other learners during the lessons.  The use of the inbuilt interactive whiteboard means that all material can be easily shared both during and after the lesson. Student interaction is further achieved by the use of ‘break out rooms’ where the students are able to practice the target language in small groups. The teacher monitors and intervenes as necessary. The use of all these features ensures that our online lessons are extremely engaging and interactive.

Course Fee Per Week

General English Online course fees are being offered at introductory rates and are discounted according to the number of weeks booked. A minimum of six participants is required to run a course and courses are subject to availability.

Other Fees

A one-time registration fee of €25 and a digital coursebook fee of €45 are applicable to every enrolment. An additional summer supplement of €35 per week is applicable for courses from 20th June to 26th August 2022.

Our General English courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a 2 week break during Christmas and New Year.

General English:

    • 09:00 – 10:30 Lessons
    • 10:30 – 11:00: Break
    • 11:00 – 12:30: Lessons

During our peak seasons, we may offer lessons in the afternoon instead of the morning.

The course fee includes the hours of tuition, supplimentary online course material and an end of course certificate. Long term students will also have a periodical meeting with a tutor to discuss their progress.

Step 1.  Fill in an online application form to receive a quote

Step 2: Once you’re happy with the quote, we will send you an invoice and information about payment. A deposit of 25% is normally required to be paid in order to secure the booking. The remaining invoice balance should be settled no later than 14 days prior to your arrival in Malta. Visa assisted students are required to settle the total invoice amount in order for us to issue an Acceptance Letter for visa purposes.

Step 3: You will receive a link to our online test. This will allow us to assign students to a class appropriate to their level.

Step 4: Once full payment is received, approximately 2 weeks before your arrival, you will receive further logistical information about your course and stay with us.

The maximum number of students in an Adult class is 14.

Your will receive an email from your teacher with the link for your online class. The link will be received before each lesson, about fifteen minutes before the lesson starts.

Online English Language Test

Welcome to our online English language test. The test has questions at different levels, ranging from elementary to advanced. It is designed to help us evaluate your level depending on your current English competence. Please complete the questions that you know and leave blank the ones that you do not know. You have sixty-five questions in 1 hour. Once you reach the end of the test please make sure to fill in the required details and click on submit.
