Malta has one main bus public transport system. Students can access all information on the following website: www.publictransport.com.mt.
We recommend to our students the following options:
- Students not planning to use the public transport system a lot can opt to pay fare each time they use the bus or buy a 12 Single Day Journey Card.
- Students planning to travel around Malta and are staying for 1-2 weeks can buy the Explore Card for each week of their stay.
- Students planning to travel around Malta and are staying for 3 weeks + can order the Adults TallInja Card online and can send it to the School to be picked up on the first day. The address of our school is “Malta University Language School, Robert Mifsud Bonnici, Ħal Lija LJA1405, Malta”. Alternatively, it can be sent to any other Maltese address.
- Students planning to travel around Malta and are staying for 3 months + can order the Students Tallinja Card online. To do this, the student will need proof from the School, which can be given upon full payment of the Course/Accommodation.
We highly recommend to our long term students that they apply for their bus card before their arrival in Malta and use the University Residence address or any other Maltese address to pre-order their card.
