One To One Tuition

One-to-one tuition is a tailor-made course based on the student’s specific needs and interests. The teacher supports the student throughout their course to address the linguistic needs while developing the student’s current English knowledge. This will enhance fluency and accuracy while helping the student to take their English to the next level. This type of tuition is a great opportunity for the student to explore aspects of the English language which they find interesting or particularly challenging.

Courses can begin on any Monday according to the student’s request. The course comprises of a minimum of one hour of tuition each day and lessons can be held either in the morning or in the afternoon. All students are asked to sit for an online placement test before they arrive. This ensures that their lessons are planned appropriately, according to their level of English. This course is offered at any level throughout the year.

Other Fees

A one-time registration fee of €35 and a coursebook fee of €50 are applicable to every enrolment. An additional summer supplement of €35 per week is applicable for courses from 17th June to 31st August 2024.

Our One-to-one courses start every Monday throughout the year with the exception of a 2 week break during Christmas and New Year.

Lessons times will be agreed upon according to the student’s and teacher’s availability.

The course fee includes the hours of tuition, supplementary course materials and an end of course certificate. Long term students will also have a periodical meeting with a tutor to discuss their progress.

Step 1.  Fill in an online application form to receive a quote

Step 2: Once you confirm the quote, we will send you an invoice and information about payment. A deposit of 25% is normally required to be paid in order to secure the booking. The remaining invoice balance should be settled no later than 14 days prior to your arrival in Malta. Visa assisted students are required to settle the total invoice amount in order for us to issue an Acceptance Letter for visa purposes.

Step 3: You will receive a link to our online test. This will allow us to assign students to a class appropriate to their level.

Step 4: Once full payment is received, approximately 2 weeks before your arrival, you will receive further logistical information about your course and stay with us.

The maximum number of students in an Adult class is 14 while the maximum number of students in a Teenager class is 15.

On your first day there will be a welcome meeting that starts at 8:40am. We recommend that you arrive at our school office in time for this meeting.

Online English Language Test

Welcome to our online English language test. The test has questions at different levels, ranging from elementary to advanced. It is designed to help us evaluate your level depending on your current English competence. Please complete the questions that you know and leave blank the ones that you do not know. You have sixty-five questions in 1 hour. Once you reach the end of the test please make sure to fill in the required details and click on submit.
