English for Contract and Company Law

This course provides the necessary English Language skills needed to carry out legal studies and professional activities effectively. It focuses specifically on the legal language required in the two major areas of law central to international business law, drawing on examples for English, American and European legal materials.

The teachers on this course adopt an interactive methodology widely accepted in language teaching. The materials used contain a high level of specific legal content and practical materials, including cases, legislation, legal writing and examples. In this way the students will be exposed to the formal register in order to survive professionally.

The course consists of 15 hours tuition per week. During the first session you will be prepared with the legal terminology and in the second session you will be able to discuss aspects of law with the experts in English.

The Package includes:

A needs analysis which enables the students to discuss their requirements with their teacher
• 
 A classroom course in a group of no more than 8 students
• 
15 hours tutition per calendar week (reduced to 8 hours if less than 5 students)
• 
  All teaching materials
• 
Official achievement and attendance certificates issued by the  University of Malta on completion of the course
